Come Bowl a Turkey With Me

Kiwanis International is a global service organization with clubs at all levels of education (elementary school through college) in addition to its adult umbrella organization.  I have been a member of this organization since I was a teenager.  I was a Key Club member in high school, a Circle K International member at the University of Texas at Austin, and continue to be a member of the Kiwanis Club of Tysons Corner/McLean.

The Kiwanis Club of Tysons Corner/McLean is holding it's first-ever bowling fundraiser on Sunday, March 24, 2013, from 2-4 p.m. at AMF Annandale Lanes.  Registration is $20/person which includes your shoe and lane rental.  All proceeds will benefit The Eliminate Project, a joint program between Kiwanis International and UNICEF, to eliminate maternal and neonatal tetanus.

If you are interested in bowling, supporting me while I bowl using my trademark unorthodox style (and invariably break a nail in some sort of painful manner), or donating a raffle prize, please let me know before the deadline of Friday, March 15, please.  Thanks for your support!  - jw
