Dr. Kim used OD Central to submit a request to visit our Center, so I just knew right away that I'd like him! 

Dr. Kim learned about our cool new Tysons Corner-specific patient satisfaction survey.  TLC's corporate office sends similar surveys to all surgery patients at the one-month mark, but it can tend to be generic.  Dr. Holzman designed a Tysons-specific survey to make the results more meaningful.  In-house patients are encouraged to complete the survey on the tablet located at the front desk (see picture below as Nicole explains this to Dr. Kim), and your patients receive their survey via e-mail.  Please encourage your patients to complete the survey!

I still can't figure out how I missed this visit detail, but Dr. Kim was leaving just as one of his staff members was being brought back for surgery prep. Remember that if you have a patient or a staff member scheduled for surgery ... come with them!  It's a great way to show support for the patient, refresh your memory on patients' refractive experience, and earn CE credit at the same time.  - jw
