My, it's been a long time since I was able to get out there and visit our Affiliate Network in person!  TLC Tysons Corner has been incredibly busy lately (THANK YOU!).  Everyone around here keeps saying that things might slow down a bit in March, so I'll have to be better about visiting your practices come Spring.

Today, I was able to get a quick visit in to see Dr. Richard Davidson at his Dulles, VA, office.  Joan, our new PRC Nicole, and I made an impromptu stop into his office, so we were grateful that he was able to take the time to talk to us.

One thing that Joan mentioned is that Dr. Davidson is great at using lead cards.  When he discusses refractive surgery options with his patients, those that are interested in LASIK or PRK are asked to fill out a lead card.  Basically, it asks for the patient's contact information and level of interest in surgery.

These lead cards are then faxed into TLC Tysons Corner.  The patient is sent a refractive surgery information packet, and our staff contacts the patient to schedule a complementary consultation.  Additionally, the use of lead cards ensures that your patient is connected with your name in our computer system.  It's important to give you credit for the eyes your refer.

Lead cards are a great way to build your refractive surgery co-management practice.  - jw
