Dr. Havish Bhalani - Arlington and Alexandria

On Thursday, July 2, 2015, Dr. Havish Bhalani was able to take some time away from his new practice locations to visit us in Tysons Corner. Dr. Bhalani is the newest associate at Northern Virginia Doctors of Optometry, an established multi-location practice in NOVA.

He had recently graduated from PCO. At the VOA Annual Meeting, my guest was a former neighbor's daughter who was starting the three-year optometry program at PCO this month. Three years! Dr Bhalani had been through the traditional four-year program like most of us. I'm interested to see what my neighbor's impressions are of the fast-tracked program. The traditional program seems to have done Dr. Bhalani well. He asked solid clinical and surgical questions during his visit. We discussed Dr. Holzman's recent journal article in the Journal of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. - jw
