So, there was a little issue of a blizzard in January 2016 that caused some disarray in the DMV area. Dr. Khanifar was so kind to reschedule his lecture so that we could all learn from him while also driving to/from safely.
Dr. Khanifar really is a master at creating slide presentations. Last year, he did a brilliant OCT lecture at the VOA Annual Meeting held in McLean. He delineated details in the OCT nicely so that everyone in the audience could tell what was going on. You know, sometimes if you're sitting in the back of the room, you can't always tell the details, but with his animations and additions, I could easily follow his lecture even from the back of the room. In this diabetic retinopathy lecture, he did a great job of presenting panoramic photos of the retina, and then he would zoom in on specific sections to really show what he was discussing.
