Dr. Meera Sutaria, Ashburn, VA

Dr. Sutaria's office is a brand new part of Ashburn that I had never been to before, until recently. What a nice area to discover!

When we were at her office this past Tuesday (I know, shame on me ... I usually do post things in a much more timely manner), it was fun for a couple of reasons:

1. She has a relaxation room with two whole body massage chairs. I just know Andy's thinking, "Mental note: Get massage chair for Zen Room at the office." The best part of the night was seeing a patient's two young kids, one in each chair, discovering the whole body massage selection. Their tiny bodies were vibrating while telling me how cool it was.

2. Her entire staff was there to show their support for Dr. Sutaria's first Consult Night. I thought that was such a wonderful way for their office to come together.

3. Their office had a coloring contest for all their pediatric patients. Everyone's entries were displayed in the office, some of them at the front desk area, like in the picture below. The winner won a backpack full of goodies. I don't think I have even a fraction of the creativity and artistry that those little ones have!

4. This doesn't usually happen to me, but while I was stuck in traffic on the Dulles Toll Road to get to Dr. Sutaria's office, I suddenly felt like I smelled fried rice. Weird! But, the even weirder thing is that after the Consult Night, we decided to grab a quick bite to eat since it had been such a long day. And, the restaurant we chose had fried rice on the menu! Yum! - jw
