VA TLC Centers Sponsor VOA Annual Meeting & Exhibition Hall

The three TLC Centers in Virginia - Tysons Corner, Charlottesville, and Richmond - sponsored the VOA Annual Meeting and Exhibition Hall held Friday - Sunday, June 7 - 9 at Wintergreen Resorts. TLC sponsored the Sunday Morning Coffee and a booth at the Exhibition Hall.
This year's meeting was probably the best that I have been to in the past seven years that I have been a member of the VOA. (I have attended all except last year's which I had to skip because of a wedding.) The lectures were given by excellent speakers that were both knowledgeable about their topics and organized. I love organized lectures! The layout of the exhibition hall allowed attendees to easily move from one booth to the other so that all vendors were kept busy throughout the weekend.
John Ball, Center Manager of TLC Richmond, actually won the 50-50 drawing. His usual philanthropic self, he donated almost all the money back to the VOPAC fund!

The weather was lacking at first. Lots of rain and fog. I couldn't see the mountains for the longest time. But, the rain stopped on Saturday evening just in time for a sunset reception outside overlooking the mountains. What beauty!
